In September of 2005 we went to Guatemala to study Spanish. We didn't get a lot of class time in, but we used the Spanish that we knew. We gained confidence in using our Spanish to communicate. Here are some pictures from that trip.

We visited Guatemala City (shown as Guatemala on the map). This is the capital of Guatemala. We studied in Quetzaltenango (west of Totonicapan). We spend a wonderful night at La Casa de Mundo on Lake Atitlan (near Solola). We finished up with two nights in Antigua (near Chimaltenango).

The school we attended was Proyecto Lingüistico Quetzalteco de Español.
