Update: Mon 29 Sept 2003
It looks like things are moving slower. That really isn't the case. We are just doing smaller things that aren't as note worthy. We also went on vacation for a week.
Here are some pictures of the towel bars we put up.

We are waiting to finish the ceiling over the stairs. It was open for quite some time, but then it got hot. I put some insulation panels up to direct the heat out the window

We know the bathroom is done because we are using it to store things. The last portion of upstairs is being demolished to complete the upstairs remodel.

Update: Tues 15 Dec 2003
Here it is December and you haven't seen any progress since September. There has been progress. A lot of progress. Thanks to Joel's father Cliff we have the rear entry redone and the upstairs office/lounge done.
The upstairs was a "simple" tear out, insulate, and drywall. It never is simple when the old insulation was blown in and the ceiling is at an angle. Like the other areas upstairs we added air channels to let the roof breathe. Cliff added some flooring to fill out the floor to the new stub wall.

Now the painting begins. Same color we had in the stairway. Joel finally got to hang the stairway lights.

One neat thing we did was put a rolling bookcase in the wall. We found it in the alley. It gives us access to the crawl/storage space behind the knee wall. Once again Cliff to the rescue. He cut it to size and made some shelfs from wood he got from the neighbor when they were moving out.
